The March 6, 2014 election of the La Jolla Community Planning Association (LJCPA) was challenged by the La Jolla Association (LJA) on March 11, 2014. On March 25, 2014 the officers of the LJCPA determined LJA election challenge had no merit. The challenge, however is solely based on the election policies clearly outlined in City Council Policy 600-24, the 600-24 Administrative Guidelines and the June 25, 2013 City approved LJCPA bylaws. The LJA has asked the Mayor’s office to investigate the election results.
